Peter Stanick b. 1953
Peter Stanick is an American artist born in Pittsburgh. In the mid sixties he studied at Carnegie Museum of Art with Joseph Fitzpatrick who was Andy Warhol’s high school art teacher. In 1977, Stanick was also an assistant to American painter Jack Tworkov.
Since 1981, Stanick has had numerous solo exhibitions in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Stockholm, Cologne, Tokyo and Osaka. He is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Museum of Art in Osaka and AMMA in Mexico City.
