    My panels work as a modular system. I’m able to exchange one for another with the goal of making the finished painting breathe. Through the painting process, relationships are built between the panels — I get them dating and then I get them married to each other.

    A painting is not complete until it has spatial continuity. This is only achieved when its elements “push-and-pull” like moving in and out of a portal. When the viewer interacts with the paintings, they ultimately become passageways through which one’s perceptions can travel.
