Casterline|Goodman Gallery, for the second year in a row, is a proud sponsor of the Aspen Art Museum’s annual gala ArtCrush and will be hosting PreviewCrush on July 31st from 5-7pm. PreviewCrush will host 350 guests providing refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, a sneak peak of the following night’s auction, and a chance to mingle with some of the industry leaders.

During the first week of August, prominent artists, art collectors, curators, gallery owners, celebrities, and philanthropists from around the world gather in Aspen every year to celebrate ArtCrush. Last years ArtCrush raised over $2 million with Sotheby’s senior international contemporary art specialist, Oliver Barker, conducting the sale. This year’s series of events commences with WineCrush, a private party hosted by collectors John and Amy Phelan on July 30th, followed by PreviewCrush on July 31st, and culminates with the ArtCrush gala on August 1st.

ArtCrush will be celebrating its 10th year in Aspen and will also coincide with the opening of the new Aspen Art Museum. The Aspen Art Museum will open the doors to its new 33,000 square-foot location on 637 East Hyman Avenue. The ocial ribbon cutting ceremony and members preview will be held on August 2nd followed by a free 24-hour grand opening held on August 9th for the general public.

“The Aspen Art Museum's ArtCrush summer gala has been integral to our institutional culture and ever-growing public persona. It remains a vital component in ensuring that the future of the museum grows stronger and, this year, also provides the perfect celebration of our incredible new Shigeru Ban-designed facility. We are thrilled to welcome all who share this moment with us.”- Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson, Aspen Art Museum Nancy and Bob Magoon CEO and Director
